The Chevrolet Impala Taxi was introduced in 1965 and continued into the Superfast era.
There are numerous variations of the model and all of them are suited to this Matchbox Lesney E style reproduction box.
This is the early E1 style with the plain blue end flap similar to the D style boxes. The E2 and later styles feature pictures on the end flaps.
